Content management with TYPO3

TYPO3 is a powerful, flexible and free content management system (CMS) that is mainly used to create and manage complex websites. In TYPO3, content is organized as pages and content elements. A page serves as a container for various content elements such as text, images, forms or multimedia content. Custom extensions can also be developed for individual requirements, which TYPO3 integrates into existing systems using PHP and the TYPO3 framework. Thanks to the open architecture, it is possible to add or adapt almost any function.

TYPO3 offers comprehensive tools for search engine optimization. It enables the creation of speaking URLs, the optimization of meta tags and supports Schema.org markup. There are also special extensions that provide additional SEO functions, e.g. for analyzing page content or creating XML sitemaps.

Thanks to the ease of use of the SEO tools, even editors without technical knowledge can contribute to improving the visibility of a website.

TYPO3 is known for its high security standards. The CMS is regularly updated to close security gaps and introduce new functions. Security updates are easy to carry out and there are special long-term support versions (LTS) that are provided with updates over a longer period of time.

For additional security, extensions such as web application firewalls or CAPTCHAs can be integrated to protect the website from potential threats.
